AI-Powered SOC Alert Triage System
Built a Python-based SOC analyst assistant that retrieves live security alerts from a SIEM, extracts MITRE ATT&CK context, sends structured summaries to OpenAI, and generates analyst-style triage reports. Started with infrastructure troubleshooting before automating the full pipeline.
Windows 11 Vulnerability Scanning Lab
Deployed a Windows 11 Pro VM in Microsoft Azure and compared unauthenticated vs. credentialed Tenable scans. The credentialed scan found 147 vulnerabilities versus 36 unauthenticated - demonstrating how credential access transforms scan depth and visibility.
Restoring Server Connectivity in a Virtualized Lab
Troubleshot an unreachable server VM in a virtualized home lab by validating power state, console access, IP configuration, routing, and NetworkManager profiles. Identified an inactive connection profile as root cause and restored connectivity.

I'm a cybersecurity graduate with a B.S. in Cybersecurity from the University of Saint Mary and hands-on experience building labs across security operations, cloud security, Linux administration, networking, and AI-assisted workflows.
My strongest interests are cloud security, AI-assisted security tooling, and hands-on technical problem solving. I hold four certifications and am actively pursuing AZ-500 and CySA+ to build further depth. I approach problems methodically, document what I learn, and build projects that show practical skill - not just theoretical knowledge.
