Professional background
I earned my B.S. in Cybersecurity from the University of Saint Mary and build hands-on labs across security operations, cloud security, Linux administration, networking, and AI-assisted workflows. I hold CompTIA Security+, the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate, CompTIA SecAI+, and Microsoft AZ-900, and I am working toward RHCSA, AZ-500, and CySA+.
The projects here reflect what I have built and learned: genuine troubleshooting, practical tools, and problems worth solving. The clearest way to show technical skill is documented, working projects that explain not just what I built but how I worked through the problems I hit.
Technical approach
My approach is broad by design. I have built projects across SIEM and security automation, cloud security in Azure, network administration, and AI-assisted tooling, because a strong foundation across domains makes you effective in more environments. I am comfortable on the Linux command line, focused on cloud security depth, and fluent in AI workflows, not just as a user but as someone who knows how to make model output reliable and trustworthy.
Work style
I work a problem by understanding the system first, isolating variables, applying targeted fixes, and verifying that changes actually work before I call them done. The network troubleshooting case study is a good example. Every connection attempt failed, so instead of guessing I started at the power state and worked up layer by layer until I found the root cause.
I document what I build and what I learn, because documentation is part of the work, not an afterthought. A fix you cannot explain clearly is a fix you do not fully understand.
Outside cybersecurity
I am a multi-sport athlete and competitor. I hold a Taekwondo black belt, competed at the collegiate level in esports and football, and was named 2025 Collegiate Esports Player of the Year. Leadership development through the Leadership Club shapes how I work on a team: clear communication, defined roles, and making sure people understand why the work matters.
