I earned my B.S. in Cybersecurity from the University of Saint Mary, and I build hands-on labs across security operations, cloud security, Active Directory, Linux administration, networking, and AI-assisted workflows.

I hold CompTIA Security+, the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate, CompTIA SecAI+, and Microsoft AZ-900, and I’m working toward RHCSA, AZ-500, and CySA+. Alongside that, I do IT support for Phaze Zero Technology Services: deploying hardware like printers, camera systems, and phone lines, maintaining the ticketing system, and resolving device and connectivity issues.

The projects here reflect what I’ve built and learned: genuine troubleshooting, practical tools, and problems worth solving. I think the clearest way to show technical skill is documented, working projects that explain not just what I built, but how I worked through the problems I hit.

A strong foundation across domains makes me effective in more environments. I’m comfortable on the Linux command line, building cloud security depth, and fluent in AI workflows, not just as a user, but as someone who knows how to make model output reliable.

Understand first, then fix it for good

I work a problem by understanding the system first, isolating variables, applying targeted fixes, and verifying that changes actually work before I call them done.

Start at the bottom of the stack

When every connection to a server failed, I didn’t guess. I started at the VM’s power state and worked up layer by layer until I found the root cause: an inactive network profile.

A fix has to survive a reboot

A fix that disappears after a restart is a temporary patch, not a fix. I verify that changes persist, then I verify again.

Documentation is part of the work

Not an afterthought. A fix you can’t explain clearly is a fix you don’t fully understand, which is why every project here is written up step by step.

Let the data overrule me

In AI work especially, I control the inputs, test against a baseline, and throw out my own ideas when the evidence says they don’t hold up.

How I got here

  1. 2018 to 2021Self-hosting

    Ran a self-hosted, multi-server platform

    Virtualized servers, CentOS administration, port forwarding and a DMZ, Java plugins with SQL storage, and a team of 8 to 10 people.

    Started the iterative prompt-engineering project

    Using sports analysis to learn how LLMs fail and how to keep them grounded in verified data. Still iterating today.

    Helped build the university cybersecurity lab

    Installed and connected workstations and peripheral equipment used for coursework and applied security training at the University of Saint Mary.

    IT Support, Phaze Zero Technology Services

    On an as-needed basis: deploying printers, camera systems, and phone lines, organizing the internal ticketing system, and resolving hardware and connectivity issues.

    Graduated from the University of Saint Mary, and was named the 2025 Collegiate Esports Player of the Year.

    Built an AI-assisted triage pipeline on a live Wazuh SIEM, and compared credentialed and unauthenticated Tenable scans in the LOG(N) Pacific Cyber Range on Azure.

    AD DS, DNS, OUs, AGDLP groups, SMB and NTFS permissions, and Group Policy on Windows Server 2025 and Windows 11.

I’m a multi-sport athlete and competitor. Leadership development through the Leadership Club shapes how I work on a team: clear communication, defined roles, and making sure people understand why the work matters.
